Berthing and Other Charges from 1^st January 2010

Chichester Harbour Dues must be paid direct to the Chichester Harbour Office. Berthholders and annual storage customers are required to sign a Berthing and Storage Ashore Licence for Vessels as developed by The Yacht Harbour Association, which sets out the General Conditions for berthing and storage. Electricity is included in the berthing charges where only small amounts are used and boats are not connected to the supply when owners are not on board. A seasonal service charge will be made when owners wish to remain connected to the supply. Individual meters are being introduced this winter and charges are available on request.

From 1^st January 2010 prices are subject to the 17.5% VAT rate – revised prices are shown below for January – March 2010

Annual Berthing
Berthing fees are due in advance or by standing order with an initial deposit and then ten monthly payments (with a small administrative charge).
Berthing fees are calculated to the nearest 0.1/metre.
There is a minimum charge per berth of £1,710 inc. VAT at 17.5%.

Annual berthing payment terms:

Standard Single Payment: - All fees are payable in advance for annual/seasonal.
Standing Order Payment:- A deposit of 2 months payments is payable in advance,
with the remainder paid in 10 monthly instalments commencing the following month

Boat Lifting Charges

Lift/launch boats <12 metres					£ 17.37	per metre LOA
Boat lift and hold boats <12 metres					£ 19.41	per metre LOA
Lift/launch boats >= 12 metres					£ 19.00	per metre LOA
Boat lift and hold boats >= 12 metres					£ 21.00	per metre LOA
Crane operations-Includes crane and two man crew					£ 125.00	per hour

Boat Cleaning

Clean hull below waterline high pressure jet-wash.					£ 6.13	per metre LOA
Scrub charges - heavy fouling requires scraping.					£ 9.20	per metre LOA

Cradle Hire

Hire of EYH cradle, trailer or support frame for non bilge keels or extra high blocking for lifting keels.					£ 32.70	per month
					£ 127.72	per six months

Mast Work

Step or Unstep Mast			6.9m and less LOA		£ 40.87	each way
Additional mast work at hourly rate			7m to 9.9m LOA		£ 56.20	each way
Additional mast work at hourly rate			10m and over LOA		£ 74.59	each way
			Add 50% for mizzen mast

Mast Storage

Storage, preparation both ways and movement to and from mast rack.					£ 91.95	De-rigging and

Slipway

Pontoon Services

Labour and sub-contract services
Many other services are available e.g. anti-fouling, topside cleaning, rigging etc. Please ask in the Harbour Office for a quote.				Labour
